Icelandic outerwear specialist -- and regular Soulland collaborator -- 66°North has dropped the latest addition to its collection of heavy-duty coats for the winter months ahead. Titled the Tindur Down Jacket, the coat was initially unveiled as part of the brand's Fall/Winter 2017 collection earlier this year.
The Tindur Down Jacket is released to mark 90 years since the brand was founded, originally as a manufacturer of protective clothing for Iceland's fisherman. This heritage is evident in the latest release, with fabrics and technologies to guaranteeing protection from the elements. As well as coming with a goose down insulation, the jacket is made from tough nylon and comes with a detachable hood and a waist snow gaiter.
66°North's Tindur Down Jacket is available from the brand's web store now and will set you back €750 EUR (approx. $890 USD). To learn more about 66°North's ongoing work with Copenhagen-based Soulland, read our recent interview with the Danish label's founders.
